In the impressive surroundings of the castle park of the Central Bohemian Museum in Roztoky near Prague, almost thirty artists exhibit their sculptural works and installations made of ceramics and porcelain. This is mainly the current work, in some cases directly created for this event. Famous artists of ceramic sculpture work meet artists from other areas of visual art, for whom ceramic material is a unique opportunity to develop their own established work, as well as their young, hopeful colleagues, recent graduates of universities. With Czech are also present originally minded authors from Japan, Germany and Slovakia. The artists are invited to participate in Summer Exhibition of Ceramic Sculpture and subsequently their works are installed by curators Petr Lada and Milan Hlaveš in order to penetrate the atmosphere of the museum exterior. A sectioned space where large open spaces alternating with chamber corners offer interesting and often surprising ways of placing art objects.
